Hi! I’m Nick Orellana, a Digital Media student at McHenry County College. I split my time between cameras, video games, and painting. I’ve been doing photography for many years now, starting with sketchy local band shows and eventually moving into product work, headshots, and behind-the-scenes shoots for short films. These days I specialize in clean, detailed flat-lay and product images or studio work, but I still love the energy of live music and the rhythm of street photography around Chicago.

Outside of school, I paint recently getting back into oils, play video games, and get out and shoot photos. I’m a big music person currently looping Slipknot, Deftones, and GEL and I’ve photographed local bands whenever I can. Creativity has always been my way to slow down, notice details, and make something that feels honest.
